Celebrating the Soul of Kerala

കേരളത്തിന്റെ കലകളേയും സാഹിത്യത്തെയും സംസ്കാരത്തെയും സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും കൂടുതലറിയാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കൂട്ടായ്മയാണ് ശ്രുതി. യുകെയിൽ ഇവയെ ആഘോഷിക്കാനും അഭിരുചികളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുവാനുമായി ശ്രുതി ലാഭേച്ഛ കൂടാതെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. അവതരണകലകളിൽ പരമ്പരാഗത നാടൻ ശാസ്‌ത്രീയ നൃത്തനാടകസംഗീത മേഖലകൾക്ക് ശ്രുതി പ്രാമുഖ്യം നല്കുന്നു. മലയാള കലാ സാഹിത്യ സാംസ്കാരിക പ്രമുഖരുമായി ചേർന്ന് വേദികൾ ഒരുക്കാനും കലാ സാഹിത്യ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ പുരോഗതിയ്ക്കായി അവാർഡുകളും ഗ്രാൻ്റുകളും ലഭ്യമാക്കാനും ശ്രുതി ഉദ്യമിക്കുന്നു. മെമ്പർമാരുടെ ഒരുമിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെയും സമാനമായ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളുള്ള സംഘടനകളോട് സഹകരിച്ചും കേരളീയ കലാ സാഹിത്യ സാംസ്‌കാരിക കൂട്ടായ്മ യുകെയിൽ ശ്രുതി സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നു.

ശ്രുതിയിൽ നിന്ന് 2013 മുതൽ മുടങ്ങാതെ (കോവിഡ് സമയത്തൊഴിച്ച്) വായനക്കാരുടെ മുന്നിലെത്തുന്ന വാർഷികപ്പതിപ്പാണ് ശ്രുതിരേഖ. ശ്രുതി പത്രാധിപസമിതിയുടെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രുതിരേഖ മലയാള കലാസാഹിത്യസാംസ്കാരിക രംഗത്തെ സമാരാധ്യരുടേയും ശ്രുതി അംഗങ്ങളുടേയും കുട്ടികളുടെയും സാഹിത്യചിത്രരചനാസൃഷ്ടികൾ ഉൾക്കൊളളുന്നു.

Sruthi is a non-profit organisation that celebrates and advances the shared understanding of the culture and heritage, including performing arts, language, and literature of Kerala. The performing arts significantly emphasise traditional, folk, and classical music, dance, and theatre. We work with cultural exponents, stage art and literary programs, and provide awards and grants to further activities that align with our objectives. Our member activities aligned with the objectives foster a sense of community and we work with like -minded, not-for-profit, charitable organisations.

Since 2013, Sruthi has published an annual magazine, Sruthirekha, with articles in both English and Malayalam. We are privileged to receive contributions from across the literary, artistic and cultural fields of Kerala, with similarly wide readership through circulation of both physical and digital copies. Edited by an in-house committee of Sruthi members, the publication catalyses creative outputs from Sruthi’s adults and children alike.
